VII INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON CITYSCAPE AND MONUMENT 2015

The VII International Workshop on Landscape City and Monument in 2015 took place at the Official College of Architects of Granada and Jaén Granada. The “INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP” was born with the intention of becoming a broad forum for reflection and professional debate on the landscape culture of our cities and their territories, and with the vocation of going to the national and international level to exchange experiences and research concerning the specific scale of the LANDSCAPE.

It is clear that the “Landscape” scale is currently acquiring great importance in both educational and professional spheres. Its importance in the solutions to problems of both urban and territorial scale, and its design capacity in being able to intervene in those aspects that exclusively architectural, urban, geographical or environmental reflection cannot define or specify, “landscape design” has the capacity to have an impact on these problems that go beyond other disciplines and that, on the other hand, interconnects them so that in their interdisciplinary action they acquire the effectiveness required by these new problems of urban and territorial “landscape” planning.

Architects and students from the Schools of Architecture of Madrid, Seville, Malaga, Granada, Rome (La Sapienza), Paris (Villette), Athens and Syracuse participated.
