This edition brings together a selection of working documents, drawings and images that show, first and foremost, the peculiar working process of José Seguí and his studio throughout his long professional career in Malaga and other cities on projects carried out between 1976 and 2023. If we had to highlight any professional characteristic developed by this professional group, we would have to find it in their diversified production in the different scales of Architecture with its different buildings and uses, in the Planning of the city and its territories, as well as in Design with its furniture and objects, understanding them jointly and inseparably from this “crossbreeding” of scales that relates them in the joint use of all of them, and their attractive graphic concretion as an expression of their creativity.
Characteristics of the Edition
This is an edition with a special design in the form of “papers” of work and analysis of the production processes of the different scales of Architecture, Planning and Design. Its contents are mainly graphic, including the working material of these processes (drawings, diagrams, models…), with the aim of offering a “didactic” vision to explain the projects that are jointly carried out in the city with its urban spaces, the buildings in their different uses and the domestic objects that are used on a daily basis. The edition of the book consists of 172 pages printed in colour on high quality paper and cover with laminated flaps, with a size of 22×25 cm. bound with vegetable thread.
