The organisation of the Landscape Workshop takes place within the Circuit of the Schools of Architecture that are associated for this purpose, and which is initially formed by the Schools of Architecture of ROME (La Sapienza), PARIS (La Villette), SYRACUSE, RABAT, PAMPLONA and MÁLAGA.

The content of the 1st International LANDSCAPE Workshop is dedicated to TOURISM in the conurbation of the “COSTA DEL SOL” in Malaga and its important relationship with the TERRITORY and its LANDSCAPE. Finding the orders and the keys of this “other” city of territorial scale that is capable of generating this specific use of Tourism, was the work content of this I Workshop that was developed on six sectors of the “Costa del Sol” distributed in groups of ten students tutored by two teachers per group.

The place where the workshop took place was at the headquarters of the School of Architecture of Malaga (Plaza de la Aurora 1.- 29009 Malaga) during the week of Monday 13 to Saturday 18 July 2009, in its Project Classrooms where the work was carried out as an open workshop from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., alternating theoretical and practical classes with the project developments of the proposals and with complementary activities (exhibitions, cinema, music…).
