The city debate organised by SUR at the OMAU yesterday became a turning point in the relationship between the Port and the city in 21st century Malaga. Before an audience of more than one hundred personalities from the world of economics, politics and civil society, the Mayor, Francisco de la Torre; the President of the Port Authority, Paulino Plata; and the architects José Seguí (author of the project for the hotel on the Dique de Levante); and Jerónimo Junquera (who designed the Palm Grove) moderated by the director of SUR, Manuel Castillo, set the challenges of a relationship that comes at the most fruitful moment for the city in the last one hundred years.
